We are proud to announce that Tea Tree bottles, tubes and pucks are being made with PCR (post-consumer recycled) materials. This new packaging will take time to evolve and hit international shores, but rest assured it’s on its way!
Our PCR packaging is made by recycling plastic that already exists, which not only prevents more virgin plastic from being created and introduced to our environment, it also uses less energy and fossil fuels to produce. Plus,
it allows us to repurpose materials that might otherwise end up as waste in landfills or oceans.
This is just one of the ways we’re making our company a little greener, and it’s one more reason you can feel good about reaching for our products at your backbar or stylist station. Look for the PCR symbol on Tea Tree packaging as we begin to phase in this greener, cleaner alternative.
