What do you love most about Kenra Color®?

Oh my, that is a tough one because I love so many things about it! If I had to pick one thing about Kenra Color specifically, it would be the simple, straightforward, and easy to use approach to the line with the fabulous, consistent performance that it gives me every time I use it.

What is in your toolkit/must haves from colour/care/styling?

Let’s see... with colour, Porosity Equalizing Spray is a must for the toolkit. We never know what might be going on in the hair of a first time guest or what it has been through, so this spray is a wonderful support tool to help ensure a flawless colour service with increased longevity of colour.

Also... Demi-Permanents! These are so important and so versatile, sometimes lasting even longer than permanent on previously lightened hair! I always use demi whenever I can.

Care is also a vital tool to maximize what we have done in the salon.
Kenra Platinum’s Color Charge Collection is one of my faves because
the shampoo and conditioner help to extend the life of your colour by
up to 50 shampoos.

I love Kenra Platinum Blow-Dry Spray on almost every guest, not only providing superior heat protection but also decreasing the blow dry time by up to 50%! That extra time can  add up in the salon, allowing us to see more clients and ultimately make more money!

Your favourite formulas

Midnight Darkness: 1N + Blue Booster

Iced Mocha: Equal Parts 6NA + 6NB Permanent (Great for grey coverage!)

Vintage Rose: 2 Parts 7VM + 1 Part 8RoM Demi on pre-lightened hair (also pre-toned with VP Rapid Toner)

What are your predictions for hair colour in 2019?

I’m starting to see a resurgence in people understanding the need for
warmth to complement skin tones and complexions. Something else that is
starting to make its presence known is the wet balayage, so you will definitely begin to see more of that in the months to come. If you haven’t heard of it yet, look it up!
