Trees Rock!
Paul Mitchell® Tea Tree products work with American Forests® Global ReLeaf® campaign to help plant a tree for every bottle of product produced. This way, it helps offset CO2 emissions from the manufacturing and distribution of tea tree.

According to the American Forests® Global ReLeaf® campaign, when you plant a tree you help cool the planet. You also help create clean air and clean water. CO2 is the by-product of cars and other products we use every day. Acting as a greenhouse gas, it raises the temperature of the planet. Trees trap CO2 from the atmosphere. In fact, mature trees can absorb roughly 48 pounds of CO2 a year, enough to erase the carbon footprints of two people.
Myth 1
Planting a tree makes our cities look good, but won’t do a thing for me.
FACT
One mature tree can make enough oxygen for four individuals.
Myth 2
We don’t need to save every endangered animal. Extinction is a natural part of evolution.
FACT
Cutting down forests makes 100 species extinct every day. Extinction is a natural part of evolution, but humans have fast-forwarded extinction 10,000 times by destroying the forests animals call home. What if an animal, plant or even fungus contains a cure for diabetes, AIDS or cancer? |
